Elinor Miller, CEO of Sage Education Enterprises, is both an educator with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a professional writer. In 1982, after thirty years of classroom teaching, she founded The Banner School, a non-profit, nonsectarian institution accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education and the Association of Independent Maryland schools (AIMS), in Frederick, Maryland, an institution that today embraces 300 students in grades K-12. The materials available at Sage Education Enterprises are those developed by Elinor during her years in the classroom and as head of The Banner School.
